“ So we went for early dinner. (American dinnertime 5pm). We ordered our drinks. Then, they start bringing out a bunch of small plates. We didn't realize this place had botanero hours. So in Central Mex, from 12 -3 restaurants will serve various small plates as you order drinks. The more alcohol you consume the more food they bring out. It was FANTASTIC. Note: you have no control or say, what they bring you out. You have to eat what they serve you. If not just don't eat it. Catered more to locals or Mexican nationals, which we are. Or unafraid/adventurous Foreigners. ”

“ I am so glad that a tour guide recommended this place!!! I visited on the same day she recommended it (December 27). They serve traditional Yucatan food. This was definitely one of my favorite two restaurants visited in Merida. They are definitely friendly to tourists and the atmosphere is very comfortable and positive. The waiters seemed hardworking, attentive, and friendly. The prices were reasonable, portions good, and the FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. I ordered Sopa de Lima and Papadzules con Loganiza. I also ordered a few Micheladas which were great. This was my first time experiencing “snacks” in a restaurant. The tour guide mentioned it but for ever order they bring what had to be at least 4 or more snacks which were traditional food samples so not only did I get to try the foods I paid for, but also other traditional food such as Kibis, a type of bread, and more. I enjoyed all of the snacks and you will definitely be full leaving here. I was so happy and hope they keep doing the snacks for guests. I cannot say enough how great the service was, how comfortable it was, and I cannot wait to go back. It was a top highlight of my vacation! ”
“ This is actually more of a bar than a restaurant. Music it’s so loud. It’s hard to hear the conversations at the table. When you order drinks they bring you snacks, and lots of them. So when you do order food, you're too full to eat it. ”
